POLISHING AND SHINE RESTORATION
Overtime, hulls and decks suffer effects of the atmospheric pollution, and the weather (rain, U.V. rays, salt).
The gelcoat and the paint become mat and thus dull. In fact, they are oxidized. An ultra thin film recovers them and leaves a mat film.
A simple maintenance with a shampoo is not enough for restoring some brightness! It is then imperative to renovate in depth the hull by respecting scrupulously the steps:
- Before any renovation, the hull must be always cleaned with the shampoo
- Never work into direct sunlight.
- Never apply the restorers to a hot surface.
HARD GRADE = polish

With an orbital machine (cotton pad cover) at a speed of 1000-1500 rpm.
Gelcoat with a floury aspect
POLI+ = polish
Gelcoat or paint micro-scratches and/or porous
Work with an orbital machine (cotton pad cover) at a speed of 1000-1500 rpm
Gelcoat very oxidized and dulled
TI.02 = crème wax
Work with an orbital machine (cotton pad cover) at a speed of 300-500 rpm.
Gelcoat and paint dulled
SPARKLIFT = crème wax
Work with an orbital machine (cotton pad cover) at a speed of 300-500 rpm.
GOLDEN RULES OF RENOVATION!
POLISHES :
Apply on a dry and clean surface nonexposed to the sun.
Work by small surfaces de 50 cm2.
Wait a few minutes that the polish impregnates the surface.
Carry out a uniform polishing by using an orbital machine at a speed of 1000-1500 rpm.
Finish by using with a soft clean rag such as micro-fibre wipe.
WAXES :
Apply on a dry and clean surface nonexposed to the sun.
Work by small surfaces de 50 cm2.
Wait a few minutes that the polish impregnates the surface.
Carry out a uniform polishing by using an orbital machine at a speed of 300-500 rpm.
Finish by using with a soft clean rag such as micro- fibre wipe.
GLOSSERS :
Apply on a dry and clean surface nonexposed to the sun.
Work by small surfaces by taking care to spread out the glosser with a nonfluffy soft rag.
Rub in a circular motions.
Let dry a few minutes.
Will quickly dry to a haze.
Wipe off haze using another clean, dry cloth
- Allows to remove farinaceous aspect on gelcoat without scratching it.
- Contains silica particles.
